Construction of New Water Tower
On October 19, crews hoisted a water tank onto the nearly 200-foot tower located on Clover Valley Road near the Intel site, marking a major milestone in the construction of New Albany’s new water tower. This project is key to supporting the expanding New Albany International Business Park and ensuring the City’s ability to meet future water demands.
Although lifting the tank took just one day, securing it to the tower will take several weeks. Painting of both the tower and the tank is scheduled for next spring. Once complete, the tower will hold 2 million gallons of water and is expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2025.
