CENTRAL COLLEGE ROAD CLOSURE

The portion of Central College Road just west of where it connects with Jug Street is closed to through traffic to facilitate the installation of water main infrastructure for the Water Distribution System Improvements Project. The road is expected to open by 6 p.m. on March 29.

Residents living on Central College Road or Jug Street between U.S. 62 and Beech Road will have access to their properties at all times. The map to the right shows the location of the closure as well as alternate routes for accessing the roads immediately east and west of the closure.

Detour signs will be posted in the area to help residents and other drivers navigate the closure.

PRIME Construction Management and Survey (PRIME CMS) will be performing project administration on behalf of the City of New Albany. The contractor for the project will be Elite Excavating.
